Patio Misting Systems
It’s summer. And what do you like to do in summer? Be lazy. Be outside. Be lazy outside. I mean really, who doesn’t just lounge around during the summer months, whether by a pool or on a deck or under the trees? Just about everybody does it at some point and the key to mastering that feeling of calmness as you enjoy the great outdoors is to not be overheated. If it is hot and humid and you are sweating or just uncomfortable, well no one really wants to or picture anyone else sweating like a pig. So avoid it all together. There are several different sizes that you can choose from to fit the size of your outdoor area. They are perfect for decks, patios, and poolside spaces. All you do is install the system around the perimeter of your space and sit back and relax as a nice gentle mist falls all around you, keeping you cool and comfortable, as well as making your place the place to be (at least during the summer).
I really just don’t see any reason for you not to get a misting system. Who doesn’t like to be constantly sprayed with a fine stream of water that will keep you cool and make you look awesome? It just works.

The Ella Square Planter. It’s a planter. It’s square. It’s named after someone named Ella. You can’t get more modern than that. Well, I’m sure you can, but let’s not go there right now.

Hammocks and Hammock Chairs are so comfortable and are guaranteed to be loved. Personally, if you ask me, hammock chairs are better just because it is a combination of a hammock AND a chair. That’s better so if you want to read you can sit up and it’s just more comfortable. But hey, some people like reading with their heads at awkward and uncomfortable angles. You might want to throw in a hammock pillow or accessory though if you plan on getting a regular hammock just to ensure that your dad isn’t in painful agony while trying to hold his head up. Your dad can hang his hammock (chair) anywhere and spend the day relaxing. You’d gotta be crazy not to love that!
Gift Idea #2:
One thing I’ve noticed about dads, especially my dad, is that they love to grill. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know, but I do know that a grill would be the thing to get him. Modern-ish Plant Stands
Plant stands very often do not look very modern. It’s not that they are old or rustic-looking, it’s just that they have a lot of fru-fru curly-ques that do not present a nice, clean modern look. So. “Where does that leave you?” you are probably wondering. Well now is the time when you can thank me. So, I thought I’d take this opportunity to tell you all a little bit about Yardlover.com. As you probably know, we are an online retailer for lawn and garden products, although we do sell some other stuff that is neither of those things (like tote bags, motorcycle gloves, or college team branded clocks). However, our primary focus revolves around items that can be used in and around your home or lawn that have something to do with gardening/nature/wildlife/being green/outdoor activities.
While many of our products appeal to the older generation, we have lots products that are actually pretty cool. And I would know. I spend hours a weeks doing research on what is cool and do we have it. Then I write about it so that you can see it and feel the sudden need to own that product. So you may think that everything we sell is for old people, such as the pickling and canning mixes or the gardener’s fashion.
So I just wanted to take a minute to reassure all of you out there that we really are modern. But just to make sure you believe me, I’ll prove it.
Some synonyms of the word “modern” include twenty-first century, with-it, up-to-date and present-day. Well. What is more twenty-first century than recycling? Huh? Answer me that. In our office we have two recycling boxes that we put everything in, from paper to plastic bottles to cardboard. Also, at our local Relay for Life event, we go around the grounds every hour with a wheelbarrow and collect peoples soda cans and bottles that would otherwise end up in the trash.
Another way we stay hip is by having Casual Fridays, hosting corn-hole tournaments, and popping popcorn using our very own in-office popcorn machine. Yeah, it’s legit. Not that microwavable kind loser offices use. So if you think we are not leading-edge, fresh, groovy, or boss, think again.
