Tailagate Necessities: Coolers
Now, when it comes to tailgating, you don’t HAVE to have a grill even though it is definitely recommended. You can get by without hot food, but you can’t get by without the cold stuff. Therefore, the one thing that you do have to have is a cooler. You cannot possibly expect your tailgate party to be a success if you do not have a cooler. And it can’t just be any old cooler, it has to be able to keep things cool.
What to look for in a cooler:
- It needs to be able to keep the important things cool: beer, meat, watermelon, cheese, you get the idea. Make sure you check out the insulated coolers, as they will keep your supplies colder, longer, without all the hassle of ice.
- It needs to be able to withstand a little beating. The cooler has to be durable. It can’t just be a little plastic bag with ice in it. No way. It may go through a little torture between the parking lot football games, cheering and things getting knocked over, and falling objects, such as frisbees, grilling utensils, and sports chairs. You can never be too careful because the cooler holds all that is dear. You just never know.
- It must be ready to go. You can’t have some giant 75-pound cooler stuffed to the top with ice. That’s just not going to fly. You need to be able to grab that sucker and go because tailgating time is precious, and you want to be able to enjoy every minute!
No matter what your game, you always need to be prepared with a cooler that can do it’s job, so that you can do yours: have fun!

Grill-N-Go Disposable Charcoal Grill
The season of summer is one that is intended to be laid back and relaxed. It’s nice to have picnics or invite friends over, but you don’t want to be burdened with buying supplies and planning and making sure everything is going right. What if it starts to rain? Then what? You don’t always have a back-up plan, and you don’t always have back-up charcoal.
With the Grill-N-Go Disposable Charcoal Grill, you can grill just about anywhere! If the weather man is calling for rain, just move the grill into the garage, and you’ll be good to go! The best part about it is that you don’t need lighter fluid, and when it’s time to clean-up, just toss it in the trash! It is ready to cook on in just 15 minutes and will stay hot for 30 minutes of cooking! Whenever you have a grilling emergency, just pull out your Grill-N-Go Disposable Charcoal Grill and enjoy!
It’s tailgating season!
And what better way to celebrate than by dumping your old battered cooler, torn lawn chairs, crooked tent, and rusty grill? Why not upgrade to newer (and better) tailgating supplies, all available at Yardlover.coms specialty site for Tailgate Gear!
To tailgate is to have an outdoor meal originally served from the back of a pick-up truck at any sporting event. Hot food prepared on the grill, the throwing of a football, frisbee, or baseball, and the congregation of people supporting the same team are a few of the components of a tailgate party.
Because it is tailgating season, I will be doing special posts prepping you for your tailgating parties. I will include things such as what kind of chairs you need and where to buy them; what type of grill is the best; and even supply you with a couple of excellent tailgating recipes to try out on your new grill! So stay tuned, because you never know when a Tailgating Tip will be thrown your way!
