Outdoor Patio Heaters
There’s nothing better than sitting outside on your deck or patio talking long
into the night with your friends or family. It’s relaxing, fun, and outdoorsy. But, the thing is, right now is not really the best time to be outside for very long. Sure the days are getting longer, and maybe a little warmer, but still, it’s pretty cold out. If you absolutely have to be outside now, then maybe something that will help ease the cold for you is a Patio Heater. These patio heaters heat the space around you, actually raising the outdoor temperatures 10-25 degrees. If you have a smaller space, then the UniFlame Stainless Steel Residential Patio Heater is great. It provides heat up to 18′-20′ in diameter. Maybe you would even like a table top heater. It is lightweight and durable and has an Auto Shut-Off tilt valve, so if it starts to tip, it will turn off. If you’re looking to heat a larger area, then the Deluxe Outdoor Patio Heater by Fire Sense is perfect because its heat range goes up to 18ft in diameter. No matter what outdoor area you are trying to heat, do it with a Patio Heater because they are safe, stylish, and modern.

Gel Flame Lights
It seems like on every home-decorating show on HGTV, the people whose house is getting redone are always asking for things that will better serve them in their entertaining. Always. Every time. Without fail. Okay, I don’t know about you, but I do not entertain 24/7. Yeah, it’s nice to have friends over and hang, but not everything you own needs to function solely for entertaining. One thing that is perfect to just enjoy on your own time, whether it be out on the deck or inside relaxing is a Gel Flame Light. These things are basically awesome. They are smokeless, wickless, and non-toxic. All you have to do is place the can of gel fuel in the firebox or stand and light it. When it runs out, simply replace with a new one. They are clean-burning and provide more light than a standard candle. To put the flame out, all you have to do is cover it with the lid. You don’t have to be a big partyer to enjoy these contemporary lights. Just set it on your table, sit back, and relax in your own little world of smoke-free brightness.

Timelapse/Bird-Cams
Bird-watching is a very popular favorite past-time. There are over 61 million people who identify themselves as birders. If you are part of that group then you know that bird-watching can be done very simply or with some equipment such as binoculars, notebooks, and field guides. If you are an avid bird-watcher, then a Bird-Cam is a perfect addition to your collection of equipment. These Bird-Cams are motion-activated by the birds, but they have smart-sensor technology that will get pictures of birds, but won’t give you empty shots of a swaying branch.
The Timelapse cameras take pictures at set time intervals and then turns them into a time lapse video. These cameras can be used for watching plants grow, clouds move across the sky, or even seasons changing.
Here is a video used by a time lapse camera that filmed radish seeds growing:
See, they’re pretty cool, so check one out for yourself!

Coffee Makers
Well, it’s that day of the week again. The day where we return to our weekly schedules of school and work and creating a functioning society. The day that most people hate because they are tired and want to go back to the life of staying up late and sleeping in even later. If you are feeling down because you have to work again, just remember, you’re not alone.
We were just hit with several freak snow storms one after another and were out of school for a total of two whole weeks in a row. That first day back is always a killer. The point is, nobody likes Mondays. At least nobody normal. If you want to try and cure your Monday morning/afternoon/evening drowsiness, try a cup of coffee. Better yet, try a whole pot of coffee by making your own. It saves you money, plus you’ll always get it the way you like it and you can have as much as you want. There are lots of different coffee makers to choose from. You can choose between a cappuccino or espresso maker and never crave the perfect cup of coffee again. Just walk into your kitchen and get one! These machines can even brew up a hot cup of tea for those cold winter afternoons. Sure, it seems a little expensive now, but think about all the money you will save from those costly coffee shops that you visit twice a day, every day. Plus, now you will have the convenience of having your coffee or tea right in your own home, so if you’re the type of person who absolutely can not function without your morning cup of joe, then you won’t have to go out and get it on days when you could be stuck at home due to bad weather. Invest in a coffee maker now, and see the joy it will bring you on those horrible Monday mornings.

Walking Sticks
I
remember when I was little and my family would go on day hikes and my dad always had this walking stick that he took with him. My brother and I always wanted to be the ones holding the walking stick and we would fight over it because we thought it was so cool. And it was. It had footprints of different animals on it and we always wanted to try and find those footprints on our hike, although it rarely happened because we were way too loud. The point is, walking sticks can create great stories and help you remember those fun times in the woods with your family. There are different kinds of walking sticks, including actual canes, or sticks that look like you may have just picked it off the forest floor. There are others that have more design to them, including one with leaves on it, and one with a unique bend in it. Whether you are an avid hiker, or just like to go for strolls through the neighborhood, walking sticks make great company.

Dog Spot Repair Kit
I have a dog. ‘Nuff said. Dogs cause problems. They’re stinky, dirty, hairy, wild, and sometimes gross. Yet, we love them, which is why we put up with all of the problems they cause us. One thing dogs do, pretty much wherever they want to, is go to the bathroom. Thankfully, most of the time it is out in the backyard. Dog spots are caused by the dogs urine. The urine is high in nitrogen and salts, which kills the grass. If you don’t particularly like the way your yard looks with brown patches everywhere, try Dog Spot Repair Kit. It repairs and fills in the area where the grass has died by adding essential seed growing components to your lawn. Go ahead and try it, because, well, it will make your lawn look a lot better!

Space Heaters
Right now, I am sitting at my work desk, and I am freezing! Sure, I have a coat that I could put on, but that is bulky and uncomfortable, plus when I go outside, I would just be cold again. Plus, my legs and feet would still be cold, so that doesn’t do me much good. What I’ve been wanting for sometime now is a Space Heater. There are different styles of space heaters, including ones that are equipped with oscillation, ones you can mount on the wall, or one that you rest your feet directly on it! If you really have cold feet, try the Cozy Feet Heated Shoe Insulator. You put it right in your shoe! There is even one that has a remote control, so you can control it from across the room! Never be cold again, and get a Space Heater!

Nutcrackers/Gatherers
I love walnuts and pecans! They are great to put in yogurt, on waffles, or in trail mix. Sure you can buy them at the store, but where’s the fun in that? If you have a pecan tree in your backyard, try a Duke Pecan Nut Harvester or Roller Nut Harvester. They are easy to use and save you time from trying to pick each one up by hand. Once you’ve gathered the nuts, try a Duke Pecan Walnut Cracker. It is heavy-duty and can crack walnuts, pecans, and macadamia nuts.
