Easy-to-Grow Seed Kits

Sometimes I wish I could have everything I need, right when I need it, instead of having to write it down so I don’t forget to pick it up the next time I’m in town.  It’d be nice if everything we did were easy, especially trying to grow our own plants, food, and herbs.  If you really are just tired of not being able to grow the plants you want, then try an Easy-To-Grow Seed Kit at yardlover.com.  These kits come in several varieties such as sunflowers, tomatoes, and herbs, and come with everything you need to grow your own plants at home, including seeds, starter soil, pots, and complete instructions!  Grow them in your kitchen, on your sun-porch, or on your deck.  You can start growing whenever you want and they’ll be ready by the time you need them!

Treegator Irrigation Bag

Watering is a hassle, especially when you don’t know what the right amount to give a plant is.  Trees are especially tricky because they have deeper roots, and it’s always difficult to tell just how much water they need.  Treegator Irrigation Bags give your tree a professional watering every time!  All you have to do is set it up, and you will never have to worry about whether your tree is getting enough water again!  There will be no more standing by the tree holding a hose for twenty minutes, or running a sprinkler for a couple of hours, which results in a lot of wasted water and money.  It’s simple, effective, and smart!

Topsy Turvy

Many times, those who love to eat fresh vegetables love to grow them themselves.  If you absolutely love the taste of great tomatoes and take pride in knowing you grew them yourself, then a Topsy Turvy is a great thing to have.  Topsy Turvys are great if you don’t have a lot of space or just don’t like keeping up an entire garden.  Simply plant the tomato plant, hang it up, and remember to water it!  You’ll have fresh, great tasting tomatoes in no time!  But, just in case you’re not that into tomatoes, they’re great for peppers too!

Pet Vehicle Barriers

If you are a dog-owner who just loves to take your best friend to the park for some afternoon fun, then it’s very possible that you end up with some muddy paw prints in your car afterward.

Once, my family took our dog, Reagan, to the park and walked around with him for a while.  Well, he got into some really stinky mud and rolled all around in it.  I ended up having to sit in the back seat, holding him back with a shirt so that he wouldn’t jump up onto the seats and get mud all over the car and on me.  Let me just say, I never ever want to have to do that again.  It was awful.

It would have been really nice if we had a Pet Vehicle Barrier for our SUV.  All you have to do is adjust the bars to fit the size of your car and then put it in.  These barriers will keep your dog from jumping into the front of your car, which could result in an unpleasant mess or create a distraction for the driver.  If you don’t want to go through what I did, invest in a Pet Barrier, because it really isn’t worth risking ruining a great trip to the park with a very unpleasant ride home.

Deck Rail Planters

Decks are great for parties and outdoor gatherings and most likely you have some plants on our deck to add some interest to it.  If your deck or porch has a railing, then try some Deck Rail Planters.  They are the perfect space savers for narrower porches and won’t get in the way of cleaning.  They are easy to install because they don’t require any hardware, and they can be put on any 4 or 6 inch wide railing.  Try something different for your porch with a Deck Rail Planter.

Digital Thermometers

Everybody likes to know how warm or cold it is outside, even if they don’t like how warm or cold it actually is.  Knowing the temperature is useful for obvious reasons such as what to wear, what to pack, what to do today, whether to walk or drive, etc.

In my kitchen, we have a little digital thermometer that tells us the temperature inside and outside, and the humidity, amongst other things.  I have somehow become the official person to ask “What’s the temperature”, seeing as I sit right next to where it’s located.  If you do not want that unfortunate title cast upon you, then maybe you will consider a thermometer that either has a very large screen that is easily to read from across the room, or one that can mount on the wall so that nobody has an excuse on not being able to see it.

Several digital thermometers also display the time, calender, and have an alarm with snooze, and can even have a projector that will project the time or temperature onto a wall or ceiling.  So, if you want to save yourself some time from looking up the temperature every time you go out, invest in a digital thermometer.  They’re cool, handy, and make you look high-tech.

Make-Your-Own-Pet-Stones Kit

If you have tried the Make-It-Yourself Marker Stones that I wrote about a couple months ago, then you might also like to try Make-Your-Own-Pet-Stones Kits from Magnetic Poetry.  These kits include all the supplies you need to make a concrete stone honoring your pet.  You can even put their paw print on it!  If you use the numbers and letters that come with it, you can stamp in your pets’ name, birth or adoption date, and much more!  These molds are easy and fun to make, and the molds and stamps are reusable, so you can keep making more if you get another pet.  So, show your love for your pet by creating a pet stone!

Bird Care

As the weather continues to get colder, it is important to remember to feed our feathered friends!  Birds’ natural food sources such as berries, fruit, and seeds become scarce this time of year and it makes it increasingly difficult to find food.  At Yardlover.com, there is a wide variety of bird seed and bird suet, as well as feeders to put the food in.  Different birds like different types of feed, so make sure you have the right kind for the types of birds that visit your yard.  A few types of birds that like suet feed include Woodpeckers, Jays, Kinglets, Bluebirds, Chickadees, Wrens, and Starlings.  Birds that enjoy regular seed are Cardinals, Finches, and Sparrows, among others.  So, do your research on what type of feed would be best for your backyard birds, and then check out Yardlover.com to get the right birdseed for you!

Area Mats

It is cold outside, and everything is dark and gray and miserable.  You need something to cheer you up, and nothing helps to brighten up your home during these long winter months better than a unique and colorful Area Mat.  They add a splash of color to your space, and keep your feet protected from cold hardwood or tile floors.  These area mats come in a variety of colors, designs, and sizes, and are great for any space that needs some sprucing up.  Caring for them is simple: just use a wipe or hose them off  to get them clean!  So, if you’re feeling the winter blah, add some color to your life!
